I have spent much of my life listening for what lies beneath the surface, within people, stories, symbols, and the language of Spirit. Today, I think of myself as an intuitive language interpreter; someone who helps people find words for what they sense, recognize deeper patterns, and understand what is trying to emerge in their lives, develop spiritually, and express creatively.
 

But that way of listening began long before I had language for it.

As a child, I didn’t think anything of seeing spirits, having prescient dreams, or knowing information about others. I was a curious and imaginative young girl who naturally assumed everyone experienced these things. Later, however, I realized they were not occurring in the same way for my family or friends. At that point, I began wondering what to do with all of this. Then one day, I got it: these were gifts to develop and share so I could help others grow, heal, love, and find their paths in life.
 

As my spiritual side began to unfold, so did my writing. At eight years old, I knew with certainty that I was going to be a writer. I did not yet understand how these two ways of experiencing the world—intuitive knowing and finding meaning through language—would eventually come together.
 

Later, I moved to New York City, where I had opportunities to learn and grow in both crafts: intuitive development and writing. While working at a marketing and public relations firm, I developed my writing through on-the-job experience. At the same time, classes, mentorship, and extensive practice taught me how to understand and work with my intuitive abilities in ways that could help others.
 

Then, trusting a strong pull westward, I ventured to San Francisco. There, more than forty years ago, I continued my intuitive studies, began my spiritual practice, and kept writing creatively.
 

Over time, my intuition and writing converged. Writing, which had been part of my life since childhood, developed alongside my intuitive abilities and was strengthened by the craft I learned through experience. For the past twenty-seven years, I have worked professionally as a writer and editor, including serving as a senior copywriter, blog and article writer, nonfiction and business writer, book editor, and magazine executive editor. I am also an award-winning writer and editor and a published poet.
 

As with my spiritual work, writing has taught me to listen for the meaning living and breathing beneath the words, the story waiting to be revealed, and the authentic voice that can easily become diluted during the writing and revision process.
 

My desire to help others recognize their abilities and express themselves ultimately led me to teaching. I earned a master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education and taught special education and English, with an emphasis on writing, for nearly a decade. My professional writing experience helped me guide students in developing their craft, while my intuition helped me recognize when a student was anxious, disengaged, or pushing too hard. Together, these abilities allowed me to support stronger writing while helping students build confidence in themselves.
 

Today, my intuition, writing, and teaching come together to help you find your voice, trust your inner guidance, navigate challenges, and move forward in the direction you want. Whether you come to me for an intuitive session or writing guidance, I know you have something you want to understand, develop, or accomplish. Depending on what you need, I draw upon Spirit, my intuitive abilities, my teaching experience, and my knowledge of writing craft to help you clarify that goal and move toward it in a positive, productive way.
